Israel Witnesses Renewed Mass Protest

The Israeli police have arrested almost 100 demonstrators in Tel Aviv as thousands of people protested in the city against social injustice and the police’s excessive use of force.

More than 6,500 people gathered in and around Tel Aviv's Habima Square on Saturday night.  The police clashed with protesters who blocked main thoroughfares in the city center.
